Caerphilly RFC U13’s will fly out to Germany on Friday, to participate in the prestigious Frankfurter Rugby- Annual Jugendfestival. The #Frankfurt17 Tour has been planned for over 18 months and the boys and parents have worked very hard to raise the necessary funds to make it happen.
Caerphilly will come against international competition, with Teams from six different countries including Italy, Czech Republic, France, Germany, England and Netherlands being represented. This is Germany's most popular youth rugby tournament, with more than 1.000 players from 9 nations all over Europe in attendance.
Caerphilly will be the sole Welsh representative at the festival and will go up against boys a year older, having entered the U14 competition. I’m sure the Team will do their Club and Country proud and we wish them the best of luck for the tour – have fun boys!
